United StatesOverall, I give this set 5/5 stars for its price point and overall quality of the posters. I believe the Link poster really excels at recreating a video game character in a certain art direction but still being faithful to the character. What is amazing about Link is how much of his world is expressed on the canvas. Most of his recurring items are present, some of his guides are present, and his forest life is expressed in the poster. There is so much personality poured into Link (even for someone who doesn't speak in his games). The Zelda poster is good, but I believe more could have been done with it. Unlike the Link poster, I feel like the poster had a lot of personality stripped away from Zelda. Granted, Zelda has only recently been given a little bit of personality compared to the older games; however, even in Twilight Princess (which I believe is the inspiration for this Zelda), Zelda had at least a little bit of personality (Zelda seemed more melancholic and regal). This poster is not bad by any means, but I think the above mentioned opinions would have pushed it from being a good poster to a great poster. In the end, I believe the Link poster had more time and effort put into making it a great piece; whereas, I think the Zelda poster started out great, but may have been rushed out a little too early. Overall, though, the set is great. Both pieces are far from being bad in my opinion.
I was in love with both of these piece and was totally ecstatic when I found this bundle. It was a great deal for both pieces! I love how the gold pops on the Zelda piece not only giving the piece depth but also making it feel mystical. I am in love with everything about Link piece that I don’t even know where to begin, but totally in love with it! Double upgrade for Zelda art wall acquired!
